At Pearl White Dentistry we look forward to making your visit as comfortable as possible. You'll never have to be afraid to go to the dentist again. When you are sedated, you will be in a deeply relaxed state. You won't be aware of the procedures being preformed. If needed you would be able to safely respond to us if encouraged, but you will have virtually no memory of your visit. We would always have at least one staff member at your side; most of the time two dentists would be with you at all times. You could actually have years of important dental work done in just one or two visits. Sedation dentistry is perfect for people with very busy schedules and those who just choose not to deal with the stress and fatigue of long procedures. You'll be able to smile again with pride and confidence. We love making beautiful smiles.
You would take one small pill an hour prior to your dental appointment. We would provide this pill before your appointment. Someone must drive you to and from our office. When you arrive you would feel sleepy. You would be very relaxed during your entire dental appointment. We won't leave you in the waiting room when you arrive. We will escort you to a private room and we will have a warm blanket waiting for you so you can relax. After you are comfortable, we will take care of your dental work. You won't feel any pain because you'll be in a very deeply relaxed state but always able to respond if we need to ask you questions or have you move. We will always be with you to make sure you are comfortable and that everything is ok. You will never be alone. When your treatment is completed, your companion will bring you home where you will continue to have a very relaxing day. You will relax for about six hours after taking the pill. The time you are relaxing will vary depending on your needed treatment. The person who brought you to our office will drive you home and you will have no memory or very little memory of your visit to our office.
